Powell's Sweet Shoppe

On Wednesday afternoon April 8th the 2007 American Idol Winner Jordan Sparks paid a visit to Powell's Sweet Shoppe in Old Town Novato. Powell's employees Andrea Briones and Virginia Mira recognized her while she was shopping, but didn't confirm it was her until she was ready to check out. Being a little star struck they only asked her a few questions one of which was how she liked the store and she replied, "This place is awesome, you have every type of candy imaginable in here". The girls also asked if she would mind taking a picture with them and she graciously said yes. On Thursday, we found out from another customer that has been working with Jordan on her new single that she was in Novato recording for an upcoming album.
