Powell’s Candy Buffets for Weddings and Special Events

One of the most popular wedding trends for 2010 has been the candy bar or candy buffet.  Powell’s Sweet Shoppe is your one stop source for creating one of a kind, personalized candy buffets.  Whether you want to share with your guests the favorite candies of you and your significant other, create a theme like nostalgia or chocolate delight, or continue your wedding colors throughout the candy buffet, we can assist you.

The candy bar trend has been spilling over into private parties too.  Events like company parties, holiday parties, birthdays (children and adults), engagement parties, cocktail parties, baby showers the list is limitless!

Powell’s has hundreds of vendors to source the perfect set of candies and treats.  We can work with all types of budgets and sizes of weddings or parties. You would be surprised at how many turquoise blue candies there are to choose from…

Powell’s Sweet Shoppe Long Beach can provide you with a variety of clear glass containers and scoops to eliminate the hassle of having to add one more thing to your to do list!

Since your wedding or party day can be stressful enough, let Powell’s take this project off your plate.  We are happy to take care of all setup and take down responsibilities.

Do not hesitate to ask for specific items or services-we will do our best to accommodate any special request. We cannot wait to make your day as sweet as possible!

Some things to consider when building your candy buffet:
How many guests will you be serving?
What is your budget?
How many candies would you like to display?
How many containers do you have for your candies? Would you like Powell’s to provide the containers?
What are the dimensions of these containers?
How will guests access the candy?  Are they wrapped or unwrapped?
Note: unwrapped candy will need some type of utensil
How will your guests collect their candy treats?
If it’s a bag type of container how will it be closed? sticker, twist tie, ribbon etc.
Do you want to continue the theme of the wedding in the containers and closure items?
